Song of the Week: June 15-21.

This week's song is "Colorblind" by Counting Crows. This song has beautiful, meaningful lyrics that really make you feel something. It became well known from the movie "Cruel Intentions".

This song is about the extreme feelings that exist within us ("Coffee black and egg white"), our unwillingness to reveal them ("Taffy stuck and tongue tied, stutter shook and uptight"), the walls we put up to keep people from seeing our true natures ("I am covered in skin, no one gets to come in"), and the relief and happiness we feel after letting our walls down to someone we love ("Pull me out from inside, I am ready, I am fine") Colorblind is the transition into which we stop judging our inner feelings. We all feel this way at least once in our lives, and this song really expresses this well.

So make sure to check out the song and check back next week for our new "Song of the Week".

Happy Birthday, Mims!

Omg, people! Today, June 15th is the day Mimi was born 15 years ago! So, if you're really slow, let me clarify: Happy 15th Birthday Mimi! This might come as a shock since it feels like just yesterday Tammie and Mimi were outside on their front lawns playing "tag" with each other in the 90 degree weather. Wait, that was yesterday. Well, you get the point.

But, the most special part about her turning the big 1-5, is that she is going to turn 16 next year! Everyone knows what that means, Sweet 16! And when you're 16, you officially turn into a woman, not that she isn't already womanly. But seriously peeps, Tammie & Mimi are growing up. By the time you know it, they're going to be off in college (hott college guys!) getting married and having kids unless they get run over by a bus or melt due to global warming, god forbid.

Well, Tammie & Mimi are still in their childhood stage and they're living every moment of it to its fullest. Besides, who wants to be grown up with responsibilities and bills? Not T&M. At least not now. Anyways, come back for more of T&M's crazy videos and posts!

Twilight Obsession.

Hello, hello! Tammie and Mimi are obsessed Twilighters. If you don't know what that means, it means they love the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. The Twilight saga in their opinion is the best out there and they are urging you to get off of your lazy butt and read it if you haven't already.

-amazing
-romantic and funny

Skit: Roller Coaster Ride.

Hello, hashum-manics! Now, we all know the summer's nothing without a trip to an amusement park. And amusement parks are nothing without roller coasters. Roller coasters are amazing as we all know, or we as in the people who have gotten to experience it. Tammie and Mimi are fans of the thrill rides, themselves. The adrenaline in your body as the roller coaster's going up and the cool breeze attacking your face as you go down in full speed. But, are roller coasters more than just fun? Are they life threatening and dangerous? T&M decided to make a pro and con list of roller coasters.

Pros:
-super fun
-the adrenaline rush
-the wind in your face
-the feeling you're on top of the world

Cons:
-scary as hell
-dangerous
-vomit-proneness
-life threatening if you're not careful

Well, roller coasters are exciting but you have to be careful. Careful meaning, don't put your hands in the air like you just don't care, or take off your seatbelt in the middle of the ride because you're too cool for (school?). And as the summer nears, make sure you people make arrangements to go to an amusement park and soon, because if you're not, you're missing out dudes! So, until next time, adios mis amigos and make sure to come back.

Dance: Crank Dat.

Like Cyndi Lauper once stated, girls just wanna have fun and that includes Tammie and Mimi. One of the things they find entertaining is dancing, of course. Even if they're not good at it, they still sure as hell enjoy doing it. So, for you viewers only, they performed a special dance that they can at least do properly (well, Tammie tried her best), "Crank Dat".

Now, before you judge, Crank Dat is a very catchy song and we are partially ghetto, so we kind of fit right in. Us being ghetto meaning being born in a ghetto town. We had a hard knock life, so don't mess. Nah, we're just kidding. But seriously, don 't get in our grills, yo, or mama gonna knock you out.

In our video, you'll see the many takes of us attempting to do it correctly. In one of the bloopers, Tammie hit Mimi's lump. Note to self: Don't hit or even touch a woman's delicates unless you wanna end your life.

Hope you enjoy our video. Make sure to come back and check out more of our videos and posts!

Islamophobia.

Hello peoples. If you didn't already know, Tammie and Mimi are Muslims and proud of it. But, unfortunately, some people hate and/or are afraid of them or Muslims in general. This is considered Islamophobia, hatred or dislike towards Islam and Muslims. Of course, Tammie and Mimi are very upset and hurt by this news and decided to speak out against this issue. Here are some things they wanted to clear up:

-Not all Muslims are bad or terrible. Sure some Muslims are terrorists, but that doesn't make up for the rest of the Muslim population.
-Not all terrorists are Muslims.
-Islam is a religion and it's something people believe in and have faith in. Others shouldn't be judging it because they don't know anything about it and it's not theirs to judge.
-It is a religion and it should be treated with the same respect as other religions.
-In the end, we're all just human and we're all just God's creations and we should accept that and each other no matter the minor differences.

Well, Tammie and Mimi just wanted to get that across and hope this hate for one another could come to a stop. Peace and love is what will get you through life, so follow it. Anyways, stay tuned for our next post and video. For now, adios!

Cloud Shadows.

Hey there, earthlings! So, Tammie & Mimi have been arguing for the past few years now if clouds have shadows. True or false or both? Mimi thinks they do, Tammie doesn't. Here are some reasons from both sides:

Tammie's points:
-Clouds are gases and gases cannot have shadows.
-Gases or clouds are too thin to form shadows.
-They just don't people, ask a scientist! Actually don't, because they might just laugh at you.

Mimi's points:
-Everything has a shadow under the sun.
-Ex. Smoke from a factory, car, cigarette, etc.
-It's common sense!

Ok, so here were some of our reasons to back up our thoughts. Tell us what you think, yes, no or maybe? As for now, stay tuned for our next post!

Tammie & Mimi
